Creating a stylish and contemporary brand for the local café and bakery, Holborough Bakes.
Kent-based café and bakery, Holborough Bakes, approached us in mid-2024 with an exciting plan. To launch a mobile café serving the growing community of Holborough Lakes.
Working closely with founder and lead baker Aaron Roffe, we helped shape the brand from the ground up, exploring its identity and how it could come to life across every touchpoint, especially in the form of their iconic trike. Inspired by the modern cafés and coffee roasteries of London, Aaron wanted to bring that same level of quality, character, and attention to detail to Kent, creating a local destination with a distinctly contemporary feel.
The result is a smart, flexible identity that gives Holborough Bakes a strong presence, whether serving coffee by the lake, selling fresh bakes, or building a recognisable local following.
To maintain year-round trading, Holborough Bakes moved indoors during the winter months, so we worked together to establish a welcoming café space within Holborough Lakes Village Hall.
